April is a student worker in the library this semester. We really appreciate her hard work and positive attitude.

What is your job in the library?

I assist the library staff and help students as needed.

What do you like about working in the library?

I like interacting with the staff and the students.

What do you wish students knew about the library?

I wish students knew the staff more personally.

What are your hobbies?

Relaxing with my daughter, Shante, who’s fifteen, after a long day.

What is your favorite television show?

First 48 on A&E.

The Wizard of Oz

Do you have a saying or creed you live by?

I believe in treating others how you want to be treated, and just to be a good person from the heart.

What is something that people wouldn’t guess about  you just by looking?

That my favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz.

I’d like to add that life is too short, and we should enjoy every  moment and try to be as happy as we can.
