Read for Fun: Our New Exhibit!

Posted by: JollyLibrarian on: June 23, 2009

Do you associate the Kisber Library with academic tomes only, heavy subjects that you’re trying to escape from in the summer? Then take a second look at us!

Don’t hate us because we’re smart! We’re fun too!

Our new exhibit features our fun books–books just right for taking along to the beach or the pool or lazing away a sunny afternoon. Come by and take a look, and then take one home.

Here are some of our favorites:

Andrew is amazed by the political ravings of Stephen Colbert.

I think this is the most animated I’ve seen Andrew in a while..lol very cute!

The library also has some books on exhibit about bicycling and the Tour de France coming up in July. Bicycling is also a great summer activity. “Books and bicycles both take you places without wasting anything, a good day is riding your bike to the library”.
