Once again, the idea for this week’s motivator comes from Rabbi Joseph Telushkin’s book, The Book of Jewish Values. Telushkin points out that we often hear of something that needs doing: money to help out someone, a vist to the sick or the lonely, but then life gets in the way. And we end up doing nothing at all.
So the motivator for this week is a simple one: When you have an opportunity to do good this week, don’t hesitate; just go ahead and do it. Don’t wait for the perfect moment: it will never come. Don’t wait until you have more time: that may never happen either. Don’t wait until you have enough money to make a real difference: make whatever difference you can today.
Until next week.
